The article presents current view on surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome in children. Publications concerning efficacy of different surgeries on lymphoid ring such as adenoidectomy, tonsillotomy, tonsillectomy, adenotonsillectomy combined with pharyngoplasty, tuboplasty, were studied. The role of sleependoscopy in case of small adenoid and tonsils or residual symptoms of sleep apnea after the primary surgery is discussed. Variants of surgical treatment for persistent sleep apnea after adenotonsillectomy, including septoplasty and turbinoplasty, tongue base surgery, supraglottoplasty and mandibular advancement, are analysed.
