The article is a review of modern literature on the psychosocial and psychotherapeutic aspects of medical care for cancer patients. It includes data from Russian and foreign studies on the issues of diagnosis, prevention and psychotherapy of anxiety and depressive disorders in patients with head and neck cancers.
