Osteonecrosis of the facial skull arises in connection with the use of drugs that can affect bone remodeling, such as bisphosphonates and monoclonal antibodies widely used for the treatment of bone metastases and osteoporosis. The authors present a clinical case of maxillary osteonecrosis around dental implants in a lung cancer patient under systemic therapy with zoledronic acid and bevacizumab. Surgical in-block resection of maxilla was performed with subsequent primary healing without complications.
