Background. Metastases of renal cell carcinoma to the head and neck organs represent a rare but important clinical phenomenon that requires further study and understanding. Early diagnosis and optimal treatment play a key role in improving the prognosis and quality of life of patients.
Clinical Observation Description. The article presents 5 clinical cases of metastases to the head and neck region, including involvement of the nasal cavity, maxillary sinus, thyroid gland, and mandible. Analysis of symptoms, treatment methods, and patient outcomes helps to better understand the characteristics of this type of metastasis. The study emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to treatment, including advanced surgical techniques, systemic and immunotherapeutic methods.
Conclusion. Modern management of patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma to the head and neck requires a multidisciplinary approach focusing on early diagnosis, personalized treatment, and patient support. Improving access to modern treatment methods and emphasizing the effectiveness of therapy and quality of life for patients are crucial. Further research and the development of individualized approaches to the treatment of this type of cancer are necessary to improve treatment outcomes and survival rates.
