The article presents a clinical case of acute purulent disease of the ENT organs, which caused the hospitalization of this patient in a hospital, and as a result of treatment, a malignant tumor of the oropharynx with a primary focus in the right palatine tonsil was diagnosed. The clinical picture of the disease is displayed, the stages of the examination of the patient are described, on the basis of which the diagnosis was made. The results of laboratory and instrumental methods of research in the dynamics before and after surgery, the results of histological assessment are presented.
